DESCRIPTION:Join Pack 662 for the Veterans Day Celebration on Tuesday\, November 11\, 2025\, at 11:00 AM at Helen Bougher Park (1243 Borden Rd\, San Marcos\, CA 92069). This special community event is an opportunity for Scouts to honor and thank our nation’s Veterans for their service and sacrifice. \nScouts will help pass out cards to Veterans and then participate in the Pledge of Allegiance as part of the ceremony. This is a meaningful way for our Scouts to demonstrate respect\, gratitude\, and patriotism while actively participating in a public tribute. \nArrival: Please plan to arrive no later than 10:45 AM to allow time for parking and to gather as a pack before the ceremony begins. \nUniform: Scouts should wear their Class A uniform for this event. This formal dress shows honor and respect to the Veterans being recognized. \nWhat to Bring: Chairs or blankets are recommended if you’d like to sit for the remainder of the ceremony after the opening activities. \nRSVP: Please RSVP in Bandapp so we know who to expect and can coordinate our group’s participation. \n\nFAQ\nDo Scouts need to wear uniforms?Yes\, Class A uniforms are required for this event. \nCan families attend?Yes\, families are encouraged to attend and join the ceremony. \nHow long will the event last?Plan for approximately 1 hour\, depending on the length of the program.
