This ensures our leaders can plan meals\, supplies\, and campsite needs. \nWe will also be hosting a Toy & Book Drive to help spread holiday cheer. Please bring a new\, unwrapped toy or book to donate. All collected items will go to children and families in need this season. \nUniform: Scouts should arrive in their Class A uniform unless otherwise specified. This weekend will be packed with scouting fun\, including shooting sports\, campfire activities\, and plenty of time for Scouts and families to enjoy the outdoors together. \nOur campouts are a highlight of the year—giving Scouts the chance to build skills\, earn achievements\, and make lasting memories. Families are encouraged to attend\, as these events strengthen our pack community. \nCost: Campouts typically cost $5 per camper. \nMore Details to Come: We will share full event details soon\, including: \n\n\nSign-up link \n\n\nPotluck dinner plan \n\n\nDriving directions \n\n\nActivity schedule and packing list \n\n\nUniform & Gear: Scouts should bring both their Class A uniform for flag ceremonies and formal activities and their Class B (Pack T-shirt) for casual daytime activities. This beloved community tradition celebrates the spirit of the season with floats\, marching bands\, and Scout pride as we “Light Up the Holidays.” \nThis year’s Grand Marshals are Bill and Elaine Gilfillen\, creators of Christmas on Knob Hill—San Diego County’s largest Christmas light display. Scouts and families are invited to walk alongside our Pack float and help represent scouting in front of the community. \nTheme: Light Up the HolidaysDate: Sunday\, December 7\, 2025Location: Parade route through downtown San Marcos  \nUniform: Scouts should wear their Class A uniforms and festive accessories (Santa hats\, lights\, etc.) if desired. \nRSVP: Please RSVP in Bandapp so we can plan parade participation and communicate lineup updates. \n\nFAQ\nWhen and where do we line up?Final lineup details will be shared at the pre-parade meeting on December 3. \nWhat should Scouts wear?Class A uniforms with optional holiday flair—Santa hats\, tinsel\, or lights. \nCan families join the parade route?Yes\, parents are welcome to walk with the pack or cheer from the sidelines.

DESCRIPTION:Join Pack 662 on Saturday\, December 13\, 2025\, at 9:00 AM for the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Miramar National Cemetery (5795 Nobel Dr\, San Diego\, CA 92122). This meaningful event is a way to REMEMBER the fallen\, HONOR those who serve\, and TEACH our children the value of freedom. \nWe will gather as a pack for the ceremony and then help with wreath placement immediately afterward. This is a great opportunity for Scouts to take part in a service project that connects them to our country’s history and heroes. \nUniform: Scouts should wear their Class A uniform to represent Pack 662 respectfully. \nParking & Arrival: All volunteer parking will be offsite unless you have a current DMV-issued handicap placard. Please arrive at the cemetery no earlier than 8:15 AM. Offsite parking will be at the VA employee overflow lot at 6435 Miramar Rd (eastbound side). Sun Diego buses will shuttle volunteers to the cemetery starting at 7:30 AM\, with the last bus leaving the cemetery at 11:30 AM. Vehicles will be available to transport attendees from the drop-off point to the ceremony. \nRSVP: Please RSVP in Bandapp so we know who to expect. \n\nFAQ\nDo Scouts need to wear uniforms?Yes\, Class A uniforms are required for this event. \nCan families attend?Absolutely—families are encouraged to participate in both the ceremony and wreath placement.
